Marćia Riley, Ph.D. (1950 - )
Marćia owns EA Incorporated, a consulting firm
started in 1980 that conducts training programs in
written and oral communications. The company also
provides proofreading, editing, writing, transcribing
and translating services to corporate, government and
academic clients across the country. (www.writingforresults.com)
She earned her undergraduate degree at Florida
A&M University and doctorate degree at Florida State
University in 1979.
Marćia has been employed as an instructor in the
public school system, an assistant professor at Western
Kentucky University, a faculty member at the University
of Tennessee and KELLER Graduate School of Management
and an adjunct professor at Tusculum College. She
currently serves as an associate graduate faculty member
for Central Michigan University and visiting professor
at the University of Illinois, School of Public
Health; and adjunct professor at Georgia Institute of Technology. She also serves as a Hospice volunteer with Crossroads in Tucker, Georgia.
She was a national honoree for Women Who Make A
Difference, Who’s Who Among American Women, Who’s Who
Among Rising Young Americans, an Academic Delegate to
the People’s Republic of China and recently received the
“Excellence Award” from the Nashville District Corps of
Engineers.
